At 22 years old I shared a dream that most little girls have; to blossom into a beautiful lady, to be confident, to help others and make their dreams come true. ABOUT
THROUGH THE YEARS
In 1976 Spartan Health club on request of Miss World Ltd acquired the MJW Organization. That same year they crowned Cindy Breakespeare Miss World Jamaica 1976. Cindy then went on to win the Miss World title that year. What a way to start! Seventeen years later Lisa Hanna was also crowned Miss World cementing Jamaica's glory in the World of pageantry.
MAINTAINING THE STANDARD
From Carole Crawford, the first Miss Jamaica World, to Cindy Breakspeare, Lisa Hanna and the likes; Miss Jamaica World has a standard of Beauty with A Purpose. Through the years each Miss Jamaica World titleholder joins a tradition of providing goodwill to those that are most needy. That legacy continues today and will continue forever.
LOOKING AHEAD
As we look forward to yet another major staging of the hitorical Miss Jamaica World Pageant, we're changing with the times to make an even greater impact in our community. With a talented team of like minded individuals who share the same goals and vision, a crop of young ladies with aspirations far greater than ever and a solid history behind us, the future is bright and we're looking ahead.
